Starting near to home, here’s section 13. Also found out that what I thought was just built canal through Hackney Wick is actually a ‘canalised’ section of the River Lee called the River Lee Navigation 🌊🚢

I’m terrible at posting anything other than stories vaguely near the time they happen, but looking to catch up has happened on this being the anniversary of this super fun (and fucking hot) day last August, celebrating @phoebemaylj & @stirlingmitchell getting hitched. 💍🍺☀️
It was 34°c in Sussex and I wore a kilt. It was so hot the glue keeping the soles attached on both my kilt shoes melted and I had to use a couple bag handles to tie them on for the rest of the day. 🥵🏴
