Did you know you can control Chroma Console’s looper over MIDI? When your pedal is set up on a desk, it can be helpful to program a MIDI foot controller (Morningstar MC6 used here) for hands-free access to Chroma Console’s features, like its CAPTURE functionality.

Chroma Console’s Movement and Diffusion effects share the same tempo, so combining an effect like Tremolo with a glitchy delay (Collage) can yield really interesting results.
Here, we use Capture to sustain two notes, turn up Mix, and start playing on top of the sustained sample. Effect chain below:
