Further details:
Each collaborating filmmaker will be credited as director and be responsible for the production and first assembly of their section of the documentary, guided and supported by co-director Reuben Hamlyn and producer Devin Carey. A stipend will be provided to cover expenses.
This outlines the base concept for the project, but discussions with the co-directing filmmakers will take place to further develop the project.
The first assembly of their scene must be completed in Adobe Premiere Pro and delivered with all footage taken during production of the section. These sections will then be edited together by Reuben in consultation with the other co-directing filmmakers.
There is no guarantee that your section will be included in the final film, but any decision to omit a whole section will be discussed with the co-directing filmmakers.

Simply over the moon to announce that Sunday’s Children will premiere at Cannes this May!!
We shot this film in the middle of a New York heat wave that ended with a torrential downpour almost stranding us in New Jersey over night. And I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Endlessly grateful to everyone who helped along the way 💫✨⭐️

@brother.shortfilm 💛🦕
One of my favourite shoot days at @nyugradfilm and an ⭐️ all time career highlight ⭐️ was shooting with a NM Barn Owl on @brother.shortfilm which Nichole McMinn procured from @santaferaptorcenter who care so deeply for their birds. 💛
We scouted Plaza Blanca with writer-director Cassidy Batiz, and Cinematographer Gianna Badiali to line up the ideal shot for the film’s climax which features Leche (milk in Italiano) our owl star! 🌟🦉
I also found some Citrine in the WILD which felt poetic on what was going to be my last film shoot of my MFA. 💛✨
We’re now raising funds to bring Brother to completion, it’s been such a journey for our mighty team so far, with help from so many along the way, including the Santa Fe Raptor Center and the Dar al Islam retreat center at the incredible geological site, Plaza Blanca, both of which generously donated their site, expertise and services to the project!🦉✨
Every contribution of any size helps immensely so if you’re able to donate any amount, we would so greatly appreciate it! 💛🦕

Check out our cutie perks 🧢! ✨🎬
