The apex predator crouching in the midnight shadow of space, this one brought up some interesting discussions about whether it qualifies as a villain at all, anymore than a shark or scorpion might be for only acting out of its nature in a state of animalistic innocence. Yet in no way does it not align perfectly with most every villainous trait available, and whether agency’s required, I would suggest the xenomorph’s agenda is splendidly its own, a being of ferociously singular intent and purpose built into its very physical form down t a cellular level. It is the baby who reflects anyone unfortunate enough to be its mother.So, HAPPY BELATED ALIEN DAY, to all the villains out there who celebrate.

In the late 1980s, comic book readers were treated to a series of promotional house ads in various Marvel Comics titles. These captivating teasers paved the way for The Fall of the Mutants, an important triple arc crossover event spanning The Uncanny X-Men, X-Factor and New Mutants.

Spearheaded by Chris Claremont (@chrisclearmountain) and Marc Silvestri's (@marc_silvestri) legendary run on Uncanny X-Men alongside Louise and Walter Simonson's (@walter.simonson.5) X-Factor and Louise Simonson and Brett Blevin's (@bretblevinsart) New Mutants, this major comic event brought us Apocalypse in his first major storyline, introduced Archangel, and influenced how comics were written, drawn and read for decades to come.
We've dug deep into the Marvel archives to recreate two vintage advertisements as officially licensed screen printed posters: both are limited edition, hand numbered and exclusive to CODA.
