🎧 Best heard on headphones

As a Brighton fan, this was a special one to work on, in part thanks to shooting in and around the Amex on match day when Brighton beat Man City 2-1 🔥🔥

But more importantly, opening up if you’re struggling is so crucial, I know that as well as anyone. When I work on a film, my job is to make things sound good, but if doing that can play even a small part in encouraging more of us to speak out when we need help, I’m 100% down for it ❤️

The reaction to the film was incredible, over 2 million views in 48 hours, coverage on Sky Sports, BBC News, BBC Radio 2…. the list goes on.

The real highlight for me was seeing (and hearing) it screened in the Amex Stadium at half time of the Spurs game, and the applause that followed from the fans.

Usually my role in a production is on set or in the studio, and it’s not often I get to do both on the same project, I loved being able to see this one through from start to finish.

It’s like a brotherhood.

An incredibly warm and welcoming set of humans I met whilst on my travels last year in the Pacific Northwest of the US. The Noyz Boyz have been a collective now for a few years, travelling to car shows and engaging with their local community in Portland, OG.

I spent an afternoon with them having got chatting at the market downtown. Couple interviews and some 35mm later and here we are.

Restore - The North Face

I worked on this film with the homie @pentimax91, sound design and music composition by me 🫡

In Max’s words, this is a film that celebrates the outdoor spaces we all love, as well as the commitment from The North Face to design and create garments that are bought for life, minimising the effect on the environment through textile waste.

The journey is no longer A to B, but perpetual.

1/3. Okkkk, it’s about time I upped my instagram game and there’s plenty of time to do that now between washing my hands and making beats. So here’s a piece I did the sound design for, and provided bespoke music for, by @familycreative for @kitbaguk & @spursofficial. This film was produced back in Oct 2018 to promote the Spurs third kit for the 2018/19 season. It was the first film in a series of three exploring what being a football supporter looked like within the local community. Shout out to all of the super talented crew involved in this one!
