the day after we released our album, the band and i played a free show at the stone pony for 900 fans. some of you flew across the country to be there, and others locals who have been coming to see us for over a decade. from the second we stepped onto that stage, it was one of my favorite shows ever. thank god we filmed it.

today’s the day!

the world of making everyone for ten minutes is done and a new one begins now. over the past year writing this album i’ve felt a fire in me coming from the edges that we all have to live on lately. i think of it also like the space between one town and the next, or the end of an experiment — begs to wonder what magic could possibly be in its wake. have called it many things in our correspondence but whatever it is, it’s time to kick the fucking door in.

i won’t let you down, i won’t take my eyes off you. i’m not looking for anything better, our long conversation is the best. i have songs in me and when they’re ready it’s a great honor to share them with my people…. …. we’re ready to meet you all again on record and on stage.

i believe that being so clear brings me face to face with my real people. it’s the reason at the beginning i fought tooth and nail with rca to have i wanna get better be the first bleachers song. i wanted my first moment to be something that couldn’t attract a casual audience. casual we are not now. nobody missing the trojan horse filled with hearses and caskets.

i love you sideways, i always will.

shadow of the city weather update:

we’ve been speaking to the pony about the bad weather on saturday and have decided it’s best to postpone the show rather than risk it getting cancelled after everyone has traveled in.

so here’s the plan: shadow of the city will now take place on august 28th 2026 at the stone pony summer stage, and all tickets will be honored. additional tickets to the new date are on sale now.

that being said ….. the ‘everyone for ten minutes’ release party lives on. this saturday the 23rd we are gonna do a free show indoors at the pony. complete the rsvp form by noon tomorrow (5/22) to register to secure your spot. we will be randomly selecting fans until we hit venue capacity, and will prioritize those with a previously purchased ticket to shadow. confirmations will be sent by 6pm et tomorrow. anyone who receives their free ticket confirmation will be guaranteed a +1. we ask that you show your original shadow ticket at the door on saturday. message @bleachersmiracletickets on instagram if you have traveled a long way and we will make sure to hold a place for you.

doors open at 6pm, and the show begins at 7pm – with bike routes to open, and bleachers (and friends) to headline. filming this show as well… :)

refunds are available to everyone if this plan doesn’t work for you – check your email inbox for an email from ticketmaster with information on how to proceed with your refund. make sure it’s the email that is associated with your ticketmaster account, and check your spam.
