Did you know we spend almost 90% of our time indoors, constantly surrounded by artificial lighting? This has a profound impact on how we sleep.

Artificial light at night (ALAN) can interfere with the body’s natural sleep–wake cycle, particularly through exposure to blue light from screens and devices in the evening. This can suppress melatonin production and delay the body’s natural transition into rest, which, in addition to poor lighting, can lead to eye strain, headaches and fatigue.

True comfort starts with rethinking our evening environment and its lighting. Switching to soft, diffused, glare-free lighting with warm hues protects our sleep and transforms our homes into salutogenic spaces.

Looking back at our first @casambi_technologies Breakfast Workshop.

Hosted at @haberdasheryltd in the Design District, this was an insightful session focused on the latest innovations and their practical application of wireless control within a fully commissioned space.

We explored the nuances of circadian profiles and precision dimming, alongside a first look at the latest hardware, including updated touch panels, remotes, and sound-activated PIR sensors.

Seeing these tools integrated into such a high-caliber environment sparked some brilliant technical discussions.

Laura Quinn Willis has been appointed Chief Finance Officer (CFO), and Richard Corcoran has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer (COO).
