New touring LED system designed & built for @arcadia Afterburner

20x pixel mapped led fixtures across the structure, and a custom artnet/sACN control system to integrate with either lighting or video.

On its first outing to Ireland @alltogethernow.ie last week!

I can't count how many people we witnessed doing exactly this, holding this position for what felt like an age.
Something about the piece makes people want to stand, stare and hold a physical touch with it as they get lost staring into infinity

Volumes - our new lighting installation piece displayed at @shambalafest in the Enchanted Woods this weekend!

Volumes is a lighting installation composed of 4 mirrored columns each containing a 3d volumetric display. Each column contains 2048 pixels which display live generative 3d content which spans across the piece as a whole.

So good to see so many people enjoying this and getting totally lost staring into it for hours on end each night!!

After working on the spider for the last few years Aether Projects was approached to design and supply a bespoke led installation with control for part of the new structure.

Loads of addressable neon flex, single pixel led lighting and a custom sACN control & 24v power distribution rack went in alongside the usual duties of lighting install across the structure & arena.

Tasked with developing an interactive installation & content for the new area at Wake the Tiger, we fitted 2x Optoma laser projectors & 2 pcs with seperate touch interfaces for the public to interact with the content, both using a gorgeous @touchdesigner interface made by @_a_whales.

Mapping, content playback & effects were all handled by Arena, with an @enttecofficial ODE Mk3 for DMX control of the lighting in the room, and a seperate Intel NUC pc downstairs running the second Touchdesigner interface.

Sited on top of the temple in the tropical jungle of Botanica, we slightly shrunk the length of the piece for this install so we could have performers surrounding it (which looked amazing!)
