Last stop Oakland, 4/17. Thrilled to head back to the bay next week with @_skoto_ and @bloodrave.exe. This little tour has turned out to be just the trip I needed to exorcise whatever demons in LA keep me bloated and in my head. Not because she doesn't want to… simply because we don't have the money. This is the third appointment she's missed because of our circumstances… and every time she asks me: 'Mom, when can I go?' and all I get is silence. Misfortunes keep piling up… I just had surgery and I'm exhausted, and right after that my daughter Raghad got chickenpox, and now Hanin is in pain and I can't even afford basic treatment for her. My heart aches for them… and all I want is to see them well. Whoever can help us, even with something small, may God reward them and ease our burdens." 💔

He was a registered nurse who worked for the VA but the point of this post is that that is irrelevant to his inherent value ** When we start attributing to human beings more than their inherent value (which he did have, he had value in and of his existence) then we start to create distinctions between who deserves to die, and who doesn’t.
