Had a lot of fun getting the most out of limited samples. Plenty of brain cells were killed but certainly had a blast resampling, designing sounds and this glitchy tune.

The collection “The Tune The Rune” is an audio-reactive, experimental archive that explores relationships between audible and visible memories. People started using symbols and characters to document memories in ancient times. As time advances have encouraged the evolvement of technologies, memories also evolve to a larger complex known as “data” and will soon be documented in the form of quantum. “The Tune The Rune” is a research on how future generations deliver raw data, such as what they hear and see.
And when the time comes, @instagram will be able to do a better job encoding high Mbps videos, like this one.

🎧Music for Fixed Gear HKG Pt.1

Super honored to make this DnB tune for @rookiezcycles x @provit_hk, starring talented riders from @teamoverreach. From city ambiance to voice messages between ROOKIEZ members, so much fun turning a collection of Foley materials into instruments and chops.

I have always been a massive fan of the fixed-gear culture. Hong Kong is particularly challenging to fixie riders as the city is covered with mountains, moist and complicated traffic, not to mention much discrimination toward subcultures. However, harsh conditions do not seem to bother riders’ from achieving great speed, raw power, and flashy tricks anyway.
