#mural »I Am The Summoner Of Nothing In Particular« #hera_herakut , early February, community wall arranged by @verticle75 in 5 Rue Poissonnière, Paris. NOW IN ALL HONESTY: I was in absolute panic mode, right up until I was handed my trusted tool, the paint roller extension pole, shut off my brain & followed the lines that appeared through rollers, #spraypaint, paintbrush. But really, days before, the hours and minutes before I actually started #painting, I was crying my eyes out drowned by a wave of anxiety, best described as "imposter syndrome". I was convinced, I had nothing worth sharing and no reason to be there – right up until the moment I held my tools. That’s when the switch was turned, my imagination overwrote ratio, random shapes, then figures started pouring out and piled up. So, under the watchful eyes of Tommy (last slide), and the kind crew around me, I started "summoning" whatever really – snakes, bats, mermaids, three-headed dogs, a unicorn battling some kind of knight, truly »nothing in particular« but a lot of it. And before I knew it, my favorite thing happened (slide 2): neighborhood children stopped to take in my painted turmoil, discussed it, asked questions and just spent time out of their day thinking about something that I helped to appear. You might not believe me, but no matter how many years i spent painting in public, that moment when a child stops to decipher your lines, that will never get old! That is the reason to continue. To continue dreaming to help others dream. That moment in February inspired another artwork I then did: a drawing/ a lithograph I printed with @myfinbec . The lithograph‘s title became this: »As Long As There Are Dreams, There Is Hope.“ As long as we allow ourselves to overwrite doubt and fear, we can dream and float, create, inspire, continue marching through darkness. Now you know the whole backstory!) Thank you everyone, who where there that day! And thank you @eddiecolla & @droos86 & @rachel_riot_designs for the beautiful project and photos, and thank you, Chris @myfinbec for your patience with this mind of mine, helping me make sense of it all! Much, much love, Hera

As the sun is returning to Paris, the streets are turning yellow! Last week the notorious duo @titomulk left a mural in their iconic style at Rue du Croissant in the center of Paris. The wall is full of characters and hidden messages. What a joy!

Make sure to pay a visit to the wall while enjoying a glass of wine at @livressbarparis!

Merci Beauvoir @titomulk!

As you know, Verticle 75 doesn’t feature just one wal, but two. The first was brought to life by Joachim Romain at Rue du Croissant, setting the tone with a powerful statement. Now, it’s time to introduce a fresh perspective and new creative energy.

Starting tomorrow, local artist @titomulk will take over, ready to transform the space with their unique vision.

Feel free to stop by over the coming days to watch the process unfold and experience the evolution of the wall in real time.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Last weekend we had the great pleasure of having our dear friend @hera_herakut over to paint the wall for our project at 5 Rue Poissoniere in Paris. Curated by @droos86 and @eddiecolla. Once again, merci beaucoup Hera!

Already two months since the making of our first wall with Verticle 75! @latlas_art was more than ready for it and left his marks in the streets of the 2nd Arrondisement.

Make sure to visit this mural before it’s too late. Soon, we’ll be announcing the next artist that is going to paint the wall early this year.

Have a great weekend!

We have a little surprise for you all. We now have two walls in the second arrondisement! We’ll inaugurate this wall this Friday with no one less than local artist Joachim Romain. (@joachimromain)

Joachim Romain invests the concepts of temporality, urban environment and mass consumption.

See you there at L’Ivress Bourse!
