A Slab Social State of Mind🚙🤘😁
Slick, candy-colored rides and slab enthusiasts from across Houston pulled up for what we hope is the first of many gatherings at the Orange Show campus.
On the surface, it was a showcase of incredible cars, conversations, music, and activations. But more than anything, it was a celebration of a culture born in Houston that continues to influence people far beyond the city limits, while also paying tribute to Mike Padilla, affectionately known as Blue Line Mike.
The Slab Social was a reminder that this community is about much more than what you see at first glance. It’s creativity, pride, history, friendship, and expression all moving together.
Thank you to everyone who showed up unapologetically and with so much heart. And a big thank you to curator @iriskarami for keeping it real and helping make our inaugural Slab Social a big success with support from @houstonmaac.
