FWD FOCUS- HBC 1176 – HAZY IPA
A collaboration with the new hop innovation program from Yakima Chief. This beer utilizes HBC 1176, a new experimental hop with oils that are perfect for fermentation dry hopping. 
Hops: HBC 1176, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, Citra Dynaboost, Krush, Strata Cryo

Brewed in collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops West Coast sales team.  Our buds from YCH came down to brew with us and were ready to rumble. 
Hops: Mosaic, Krush Cryo, Strata Cryo, Nectaron Cryo, Nectaron Noble 

DID YOU KNOW: 
Yakima Chief Hops was one of the first hop brokers to work with Sunriver Brewing Company, with a relationship dating back to 2013.  Each year the brewery team travels to Yakima for hop selection with YCH sourcing varieties such as Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, and Krush.  By both volume and dollars, YCH is our single largest supplier of hops.  
American Noble Hops™ pellets are the leafy parts of the hop cone (bract and strig) which has had most of the lupulin removed resulting in a “de-bittered” hop. They are produced from whole leaf hops using Yakima Chief Hops’ proprietary cryogenic separation process that preserves all components of each fraction. 
Analytically, American Noble Hops™ appear similar in character to traditional noble hops, including high aromatics and low alpha acids, while retaining regional hop characteristics that make them unique to America’s Pacific Northwest. This contributes pleasant noble bitterness with the unique aromas of higher resin varieties such as Simcoe® Brand, Mosaic® Brand and Cascade. 

You’re invited to the Sasquatch Brewers Dinner at Oakway Pub in Eugene!

This special evening has become a tradition leading up to the Sasquatch Brew Fest — bringing together great beer, great food, and the people behind them.

This year’s dinner features five tapas courses paired with beers from some of our best friends in the industry: ColdFire Brewing, Alesong Brewing, Claim 52 Brewing, and ForeLand Beer. Brewers (including Brett!) will be here throughout the evening to share stories, talk pairings, and celebrate craft beer together.

The event benefits the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation, which honors the life of a legendary Northwest brewer by helping professional and aspiring brewers further their education and expertise in the craft.
