60 homes. 100% social housing for Homes NSW. A courtyard building that responds to a challenging site with steep topography. Showcasing a landscaped podium at ground level, robust face brick above, and a building form sculpted to draw northern light into apartments and shared space.
Good design shouldn't be reserved for market-rate housing. This project is a chance to demonstrate that.
Working with @jila.landscape and @fcad.com.au meant landscape, culture, and Country were embedded in the design from day one.
We've also put in some initial concept sketches that drove us through to the final result!

Join our Surry Hills–based, design-led studio working across high-end homes and multi-residential projects.
We’re looking for a talented architect or experienced graduate to join our team.
You should have:
* 3–10 years’ experience post-Masters
* Experience in local construction documentation (multi-residential + custom homes)
* Proficiency in Archicad
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Bonus if you have an interest in the IT side of architecture, with curiosity about AI integration (highly regarded)
