The SPLC condemns yesterday’s targeted attack on the Islamic Center of San Diego, which resulted in the deaths of multiple people.

According to reports from law enforcement authorities, the suspects engaged in “generalized hate rhetoric,” and the shooting is now being investigated as a hate crime.

The SPLC Alabama state office held listening sessions about democracy across the state. Residents shared their concern for the integrity of democracy, citing examples of ongoing voter roll purges and low voter turnout.
