Build Something Awesome: The WPI XRP Medal Challenge Is Here!

What else could the XRP robot become? That’s the question behind the WPI XRP Medal Challenge—and we would love to see how you answer it. Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), in collaboration with SparkFun, DigiKey, Raspberry Pi, 3D Printing Nerd, and Experiential, is inviting builders of all kinds—educators, students, robotics teams and innovators—to push the limits of the Experiential Robotics Platform (XRP).

We are proud to launch the AgXRP Beta with our partners Experiential, Cornell Duffield Engineering and the University of Idaho!

Like our regular XRP, this is a hands-on STEM education kit. Unlike our regular XRP, this open-source agricultural robotics kit turns your desk into a smart farm. This kit goes beyond basic robotics by providing an interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates robotics, precision agriculture, and horticultural science, enabling students to tackle real-world farming challenges.

Students will gain practical skills in programming, data analysis, and automation as they design, build, and optimize their own small-scale smart farms.
