SHAPE are proud to be partnering with Defence Australia to deliver a new build, multi-user facility in Launceston, Tasmania.

Delivered under a Design & Construct Contract, the facility will bring together training, administration, accommodation and ablutions, alongside a parade ground, boat shed, car parking and a safe drop‑off area. Our team will also deliver the supporting in‑ground services, infrastructure, landscaping and security works across the site.

Through our dedicated Defence team, we’re proud to continue delivering facilities that support Defence capability and create spaces for training, learning and connection.

We’re proud to share that the first ever SHAPE Tasmania Charity Golf Day was a great success, bringing together over 70 players across 24 teams and raising over $17,000 for Matt’s Marathon Mission in support of Bowel Cancer Australia.

It was fantastic to see clients, partners, subcontractors and suppliers from across the Tasmanian construction industry and community come together for the day, and we hope everyone in attendance enjoyed their time on the course while supporting an important cause.

SHAPE Tasmania has proudly partnered with Matt’s Marathon Mission as their charity partner and is proud to support an initiative that is making a meaningful impact in the local community.

Matt’s Marathon Mission was founded after Matt was diagnosed with bowel cancer at just 36.

It was fantastic to see more than 120 attendees, across support staff and 22 teams come together for the day, and we hope everyone in attendance had a great time out on the course while supporting a great cause.

The funds will aid Karinya House in supporting women and children in Canberra and the surrounding region who are pregnant or parenting and in need of safety, shelter and a positive support network.

Their services include 24/7 practical and emotional support, professional services, outreach programs, and opportunities for women to build confidence and skills for the future.

Our Canberra team has proudly partnered with Karinya House as our charity of choice for the FY26 period, and we’re proud to support an organisation making a meaningful difference in the local community.
