🖤 FOR THE LOVE OF BROTHERS: MEET THOMAS & RAPH OSTRÉ.

From Ironman, to Enduroman, to CrossFit: here’s to finding a new love & passion for a new sport.

T- “I was always into sports, but mainly rugby and living between London and Paris, the scene was set!

I have always dreamed big and decided to enter the Enduroman - an Arch to Arc journey from London to Paris. This entails running to the coast (Dover), swimming the channel and then cycling through France. In 2022, I became the 50th person in the world to successfully reach Paris. 🇫🇷

In 2023, I then discovered HYROX.

Bring it on! A mix of strength & endurance…but also strategy. I entered into Bordeaux 2024 to put both myself & my brother to the test.

First stop: HYROX Doubles with my brother.

An event where sharing, caring, supporting, challenging, giving, doubting, failing, trying & winning are all combined… this is HYROX.

This is what we value in sports, and is there anything better than giving everything for not just you, but someone else? HYROX is an event where you’ll find unknown strength to either keep up with your partner or to motivate them for the last 20 wall balls!

As athletes, we aim for the best & I decided to enjoy the race day even more and 2 hours later, I was racing in Men’s Open. (2hours later) a second one in Solo ! -

Like I said… dream big (or a silly idea, who knows😉) but it was definitely a speedy way of learning all about HYROX.

In this, I came 23rd out of 800 athletes and only 4 minutes out from a podium place, and now the fuel is burning to come back, stronger, faster, rested and try to achieve a sub 60. 🔥

For me, I am not driven by performance, I am motivated to better myself by 1% or more everyday, and for this HYRX is your best friend.

A day of truly understanding the sport with my heart rate beating at its max, cheering everyone on all day, meeting the HYROX community and being levelled up by all the other amazing athletes on the floor leaving me wanting just one thing… it’s time to do it again.
