Celebrating Women’s History Month 🎥 Rachael Levine, SOC (@ralimage)
Rachael Levine, SOC is a camera operator and Momma of 2 girls, based out of NYC. When Rachael switched her card from 1st AC to Camera Operator in 2004 there were less than 10 female operators listed in the Local 600 East Coast directory! (My friends say I was in the top 10, haha, but jokes aside it took me many years to actually start working as a camera operator.) An uphill climb. Rachael has since worked as A-Camera Operator on some of television’s most acclaimed shows, including, 𝘚𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘉𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, Monsterland,𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘪𝘥𝘰𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘱𝘦, 𝟷𝟹 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘞𝘩𝘺 and as B camera on 𝘚𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘡𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘞𝘪𝘧𝘦, 𝘚𝘔𝘐𝘓𝘍, and others.

On The Zookeepers Wife, they needed a 9 month old baby girl to play Jessica Chastain’s baby and guess who happened to get cast! Here are some stills of the monitor of some deleted scenes of my daughter playing young Teresa Zabinska. Mama is so proud of Adira!
