It forces you to slow down yourself and notice the details that a bright sun usually washes out.
Away from the afternoon paths, the lines of the bridge feel sharper, more permanent. The mallards and squirrels move through the grass with a quiet, unbothered ownership, ignoring the empty Swan Boats waiting patiently at the dock.
