This Friday, Mo van der Does (@movanderdoes) will present his REFLEX assignment, together with his seven-piece Motet.

We spoke with Mo about the new music. See you Friday for the ensemble carrying "the power of a big band, but the flexibility of a small ensemble”. With Jessie Brevé, Alistair Payne, Matthias van den Brande, Floris Kappeyne, Tijs Klaassen and Wouter Kühne.

I tried to capture the feeling and atmosphere of this film where beauty, serenity and mystery co-exist next to haunting and gruesome cruelties. ‘Raw Beans’ is out on all platforms for you to enjoy!

On the sixth terrace gluttonous souls are purged of living with too much emphasis on food, drink, and bodily comforts. In a scene reminiscent of the punishment of Tantalus, they are starved in the presence of trees whose fruit is forever out of reach.
