Today is the day that I launch my ceramics collection. It feels invigorating to be putting something out into the world that I made from start to finish with my hands, and that was created instinctually rather than rationally. I didn’t realize how much I needed something like this in my life until I stumbled across it.
It was almost exactly a year ago that I decided to put all my creative focus into this, not knowing where it would lead, or how it would fit into my existing world of design and art direction, or vice versa.
Some of my biggest influences are artists and designers who create unified worlds across multiple mediums and fields, so I figured I didn’t need to stop being a designer while focusing on art, and that all my interests can exist harmoniously, and maybe even benefit each other.

I’m really excited for what this year has in store. 2025 was the first year I focused almost solely on making art, and while I still plan on finding ways to practice all the things I do and love, having a more narrow focus has been incredibly rewarding. It gave me a taste of what is possible, and now I’m looking forward to building on that by creating new work, continuing to step out of my comfort zone, and experimenting. Here’s to making more things by hand, and working less rationally and more intuitively.
