My favourite wall from 2023. This was an abrupt, unexpected opportunity and I improvised it based off a rough sketch in 4 days. Sometimes I’m most happy with a piece that flows forth without much planning, and when everything just falls into place.

This was my first big mural in Los Angeles this year, bring on 2024!

I abandoned a colour scheme to focus on trying my best to make the painting look like one of my blue drawings, which allowed me to focus fully on detail without thinking about colour theory.

Definitely gonna paint more experiments like this soon!
