This time last year I was prepping to direct my third episode of ‘The Read’ for @rural__studios this time taking on Charles Dickens’ iconic novella A Christmas Carol 🎄

12 months later and the episode, which features a captivating performance by Anne-Marie Duff, airs this evening on @bbc_four at 7:45pm 📺

I’m really proud of this episode and the combined efforts of the whole team to pull it all together. The finished episode is such a warm, cozy, and engrossing watch - the perfect way to kick of the festivities 🎉

The new series of The Read will air on BBC Four and BBC iPlayer from November 2024, starring Sacha Dhawan, Anne-Marie Duff, Vinette Robinson and Reece Shearsmith 📖

I had the pleasure of directing two of the four episodes for @rural__studios alongside the best cast and crew 🎥
