Meet the Artist: Lora Nestorova
To Be Reborn, You First Have to Die a Little
solo show at @charta.art.gallery

Born in Sofia in 2001, Lora Nestorova @lorcentric lives and works in her hometown. Her practice is rooted in ceramics and porcelain, shaped through her studies at New Bulgarian University.

Drawing inspiration from ancient cultures – especially the Mayan & Aztec civilization – Lora’s work reimagines mythology through a contemporary lens. With bold colors and sharp humor, her sculptures balance reverence with play, creating space for both reflection and surprise.

She has exhibited in San Stefano Gallery and Serdika Gallery, and internationally in Porcelain of China: Azure of the Sky and at Ceramic Art Venue in Jingdezhen, China.

🏺Her work honors cultural legacy while interpreting it for a contemporary world.
