【5/30-6/14】「Shape of Light」by @linsyouki
UltraSuperNew presents “Shape of Light | 光の姿”, a solo exhibition by Tokyo-based abstract artist Lin Syouki, originally from China. This immersive new series invites viewers into a poetic “dialogue of light,” exploring the interplay between perception, light, and existence. Influenced by spatialism, Lin blends geometric forms with spontaneous abstraction, using retroreflective materials that shift appearance with light and perspective. The exhibition opens with a reception on Friday, May 30, from 6–9 PM. On June 11, UltraSuperNew will also host its first Supper Club—an intimate dinner and art experience with cuisine by chef Hazel Nguyen, celebrating Vietnamese heritage and memory.

UltraSuperNewでは、5月30日（金）から6月14日（土）まで、中国出身・東京在住の現代抽象画家、林正奇による個展『Shape of Light | 光の姿』を開催します。本展では、「光の対話」をテーマに、知覚と存在の儚さを映し出す作品群を展示。空間主義の影響を受けた林は、幾何学的形態と即興的な抽象表現を組み合わせ、再帰性反射素材を用いて、光や視点によって変化する視覚体験を創出します。初日の5月30日（金）には19時から21時までオープニングレセプションを開催。さらに6月11日（水）には、シェフのヘイゼル・グエンが料理を手がける、食とアートの融合イベント「サパークラブ」も実施予定です。
