australia ✨ i’m leaving feeling so inspired and so grateful. i came here expecting to teach, but honestly i feel like i learned just as much from all of you. the talent, passion, kindness, and work ethic here are truly next level, and every class pushed me to grow as both a teacher and a dancer. thank you to everyone who shared their energy with me and reminded me why i fell in love with dance in the first place. a huge thank you to @acrobaticarts for the opportunity to travel across the world doing what i love. this trip came at the perfect time and helped me reconnect with myself in ways i didn’t expect. i’m heading back to la with a full heart, so much gratitude, and more confidence in myself than when i arrived. can’t wait to be back ❤️

12 year old me used to wonder what life would look like in 10 years. who i’d become. where dance would take me.

there were moments the passion faded, moments i felt lost, but somehow i always found my way back to my roots. back to that fire little joey had from the very beginning.

he’s just a boy who loves to dance more than anything. you could say it was his first love.

when i look into a classroom, i see myself in so many of those dancers. i relate to that passion, that hunger, that feeling of wanting to move and express something bigger than yourself. teaching has become one of the most fulfilling parts of my life because i get to share the thing i love most with such talented, brilliant minds.

and every time i reconnect with that part of myself, it reminds me who i am and why i started. i’m so thankful for my story, every high and low, because it shaped me into the person i am today and continues to take me places i once only dreamed about.
