Nothing compares to that feeling of lacing up and becoming one with your skates, vibing with your music, feeling free, invincible and looking good doing it! Haha! These Nike Universa Leggings hugged my legs so perfectly 🫶🏾 Every bounce, leg extension, stride and spin was light work! And that Nike Swoosh Bra? A dream! I can’t get enough of how this set is smooth to the touch and I could literally wear it any and everywhere 😍

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas that went THRU IT to bring life into this world 🥹💕

My birth story 🙈⬇️ water birth to hospital birth..

Crazy how you plan the perfect birth experience for months, all for it to have to change in a matter of hours. The journey took a slight turn but the final outcome allowed me & @_lucassnow to meet our little blessing 🙏🏾💙

Thursday, I went into early labor. By that night contractions were 7 mins apart and lasting 40 seconds. I had to call my midwives and doula to make sure they were ready ready!

Friday, contractions grew stronger, 4 mins apart & 1 min long, my mucus plug came out and I really started freaking out. My doula came and we started laboring in water (where the plan was to deliver in). The midwives came that afternoon and did a cervical exam, I was only dilated at a 2 and the baby’s head wasn’t engaged but my cervix was effaced at 80%. We tried positions, exercises & movements for 12 hrs to try to get baby’s head engaged and positioned but he was way too comfy.

Saturday, contractions lasted 90 seconds and were 2 mins apart. His head still wasn’t engaged so we decided to break the amniotic sac, but found meconium in the fluid so had to really get things moving. Hours went by and still no progression. As the fluid thickened, we had to make the decision to go to the hospital.

At the hospital, they recommended pitocin but my doula mentioned it’d be 3x the pain I was already feeling and suggested an epidural. Hated the idea but had to move forward with it to get baby here. Unfortunately, the pitocin was pushing his head into my pelvic bone instead of down the birth canal, causing his heart rate to drop with each contraction. Instead of trying another intervention we decided to get a c-section to get him here safely and avoid any more complications as he could get meconium in his lungs. A few hours later, we finally met our sweet angel. 🥹

Moms, do what you can to get the birth experience of your dreams but make a plan B and C, be open to whatever it takes to get your baby in your arms safe and sound where they belong. I thank God for allowing us to get through every obstacle t
