If there’s one thing @haileybieber is good at, it’s getting what she wants. When the beauty mogul, mother, and wife to one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, slinked up to our editor-in-chief @melzy917 at a Hollywood party and asked for a cover story, the answer was a pinky swear yes. For our Spring cover story, Hailey B. hopped on with Mel Ottenberg to discuss peptides, paparazzi, and proving people wrong. Link in bio.

New York-based duo @mgnacrrrta, made up of Ginger Scott and Farheen Khan, first met as kids on a Hunger Games Minecraft server. That same youthful whimsy found in YA fantasy novels combined with the fierce “do whatever it takes” mentality of their favorite dystopian characters has now bled into their artistry, music, and live shows. In a new edition of TOUR DIARY, we called the duo to fill us in on what went down on their recent “Beautiful Disaster” tour, from iconic fan outfits to cinematic bass drops in the rain. The path from YouTube sketch comedy to studio movies is not a well-worn one, but @curry.barker has walked it in about two years. His debut feature @obsessionthemovie, a supernatural horror about a lovesick guy who uses a cursed toy to make his crush fall for him, opened this weekend to $16 million, launching Barker, who’s already been tapped to write and direct a Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot, into the ranks of young horror filmmakers tasked with bringing audiences back to theaters. He sat down recently with @weaponsmovie director @zcregger, a sounding board and kindred spirit, to talk about writing from the subconscious, the underrated power of sound design, and why some of the best horror directors started in comedy. In his early 30s with the world around him falling apart, @kareem walked away from a career in corporate media to become an entertainer. What followed: @keepthemeterrunnin, @subwaytakes, and billions of views built on the simple idea that everyone is interesting. Now Keep the Meter Running—the show that launched Rahma’s second career before Subway Takes made him ubiquitous—is back on @youtube, in a new longform show that lets us spend more time with him and the cabbies taking him to their favorite corners of the city. To talk about all of it, we teamed up once again with Maury Povich, who stepped back into his interviewer’s chair—something he does weekly on his podcast @onparpod—and found he had more in common with Rahma than either of them expected. Link in bio.

@indenavarrette’s performance in @obsessionthemovie is so visceral that the movie can barely contain it. In the @curry.barker-directed horror, the 25-year-old Tucson native plays Nikki, a young woman whose coworker makes a supernatural wish for her to fall in love with him and gets much more than he asked for. What Navarrette does with that premise, toggling between charming normalcy and something genuinely frightening, has earned her an instant place in the canon of great horror performances. Shortly before the film debuted last weekend, she joined us to answer a few of our burning questions. Link in bio.

@indenavarrette’s performance in @obsessionthemovie is so visceral that the movie can barely contain it.
