📱WRITE CLUB (14/27)📱

Two young women living in Washington, D.C. are horrified to discover that AI-generated explicit content depicting their likenesses is being circulated online. As they rush to discover who is responsible for creating and sharing these deepfakes and why, they contend with the fact that virtually no laws exist to hold the perpetrator responsible.

Imposed is a three-hander socio-political drama grappling with a world fraught with megalomaniacs, misogyny, and the unbridled mutations of social media outpacing our ability to grasp hold of the reins.

IMPOSED is a socio-political one-act drama written by the immensely talented @hattbf. “DRINK IN MODERATION” tells the story of Leo, a recent college graduate who accepts a job as a remote social media content moderator for a major tech company. At first he thrives in the job, but as he continues to review the content, the graphic and unrelenting nature of the material begins to affect his state of mind.

The play will be followed by a moderated conversation.

Not often you get to see a 70 million year old log, with knots and lines shaped when the dinosaurs were still roaming the earth. It makes a human lifespan feel like a whip in the wind. And a rainbow sunset in the desert to top off the day made for a pretty good trip to the Bisti Badlands. Hopefully I get to see it again before this whip in the wind ceases….
