Cold mornings, steep cliffs, and long walks along the coast are all part of the experience, but it only takes one fish to make it unforgettable.
Whether you fish bright attractor patterns or natural baitfish imitations, confidence in your setup matters.
And when a silver sea trout finally commits… everything stops for a second.

Sometimes a small colorful fly is enough to trigger a strike. Other times a more natural pattern is the key.
No matter the choice, one thing is certain, rainbow trout fight hard and always keep things exciting.
Strong runs, jumps, and plenty of energy on the line.

Salmon season carries a special kind of feeling.
The river, the current, the swing of the fly, and the anticipation that every cast could bring the moment you’ve been waiting for.
From classic salmon patterns to bright modern flies, confidence in your fly matters when chasing powerful fish in moving water.
Some flies are tied for tradition.
Others are tied to provoke a reaction.

Seatrout are well known shrimp lovers but what most dont realize is that seatrout love small crabs as well!
A small crab is a solid and easy meal for trout and when they hit one, they hit it hard and the strikes are solid!
About two decades ago my dad and I had the first experience of crab feeding trout without paying too much attention to it…
over the last years my dad(as I rarely fish the “trout-coast” these days) has noticed a significant decline in the variety of prey in the shallows, with mainly crabs thriving and increasing in numbers. This, combined with the fact that crabs are often found in the stomachs of the trout he once in a while brings home for the table, led us into exploring diffrent approaches for targeting seatrout with crab flies.
Both stripping and dead drifting the flies in the current have proven extremely effective and have quickly become our favorite way to target coastal trout!
The fly is heavily inspired by crab patterns intended tropical waters but adapted to our northern coastal waters…
its light and drops slowly in the water and the legs adds a bit of movement maintaining the silhouette and shape of a crab.
“Ones you go crab you never go back!”😉🦀😂
