¿ 2 Vibes ‘til sunrise!

When I approached FunX to promote D’Lina, my goal was to give Eritrean music and culture a platform.

That eventually led to a special moment: an interview to promote D’Lina and, for the first time, Eritrean Guayla music being played live on Dutch radio station FunX.

For outsiders it may have just sounded like music, but for our community it felt like recognition, pride, and representation ❤️

That’s why April was such a special month for me.

From FunX…
to my very first D’Lina event…
to all the amazing people who helped build and support these moments along the way.

Grateful to everyone who was there and shared these moments together ❤️

And trust me… I’m far from done 👀

There are many more beautiful cultural projects and special moments coming for the community.

🇳🇱 Nederlandse versie hieronder

Toen ik FunX benaderde om D'Lina te promoten, wilde ik vooral Eritrese muziek en cultuur een podium geven.

Daaruit is uiteindelijk een bijzonder moment ontstaan: een interview om D'Lina te promoten en voor het eerst Eritrese guayla muziek live op de Nederlandse radiozender FunX.

Voor buitenstaanders misschien gewoon muziek, maar voor onze community voelde het als erkenning, trots en representatie ❤️

April was daarom echt een bijzondere maand voor mij.

Van FunX…
tot mijn eerste D'lina event…
tot alle mooie mensen die hebben meegebouwd en support hebben getoond onderweg.

Dankbaar voor iedereen die erbij was en deze momenten samen heeft meegemaakt ❤️

En geloof me… ik ben nog lang niet klaar 👀

Er komen nog meer mooie culturele projecten en bijzondere momenten aan voor de community.
