Merry Christmas! This years December Critical Mass falls on the 26th or Boxing Day and what better way to round it all off after those couple of days eating and drinking with loved ones than to come out with us and go for a bike ride!
This one’s a little different than usual, we’ll be meeting earlier in the day at 2:45pm outside @nativecoffeeni and going for a ride, we will then be taking the ride through some parks and there will be a fun intermission in the middle!
This one will be much more geared towards the kids so if you’ve a little one who may or may not be getting a bicycle for Christmas this may be the perfect maiden voyage!
This Decembers poster is brought to us by @con_orb who we’ve been lucky enough to have had make art for us before. Always a pleasure to see what Conor comes out with, and a reminder of why we ask for art from real artists we know and love to promote our rides, because we love Belfast and the people in it. Even if some of them think we’re a bunch of jobless tree huggers!
C’mon down, have a lovely fun afternoon with us on Boxing Day and get your head showered after all that Christmas dinner! Any people powered vehicle is welcome and any person is welcome! We hope to see you there and Merry Christmas! The CMB Crew :) ❤️

🖨️🔥Vinyl artwork I illustrated earlier this year for @probpatterns new EP Boring Songs For Boring People!

Honestly the coolest thing I’ve ever been commissioned to make and I’m so proud to have gotten to work with such a lovely bunch of lads.

The vinyl is released on the 12th of September by @ilovealcopop and they’ve just dropped another song off the EP today!

Well folks here we are, back again for the April 2025 instalment of Critical Mass Belfast!!
This month after the good reception of a slightly longer ride out towards Stranmillis we are happy to announce we are taking Critical Mass Eastwards! Don’t forget to keep an eye out on the story at the time of the ride to see the route we’re going to be taking so that you can join us at any point during the journey. Joined by @bang_bike_belfast who’ll be ferrying some great Belfast based DJs around with us, @matcha.mp3 for some OTG choons and @marthadarkmusic afterwards at @playthinkbrink for a boogie post ride.
Thanks to @con_orb for the poster this month, we are on a run of some seriously good posters due to some of the most creative people in Belfast joining us for the rides and Conor is no different, in his style he has captured some of our familiar faces, friends we made along the way if you will and has immortalised them into the announcement for this Critical Mass. Thanks Conor!
We hope to see old faces, new friends and people of all different kinds on the ride out east this April, so grab your bike and grab your friends! If you don’t have a bike then try out a Belfast bike, or if you want you can turn up on anything that rolls! Roller blades, skateboards you name it we wanna see it with us!
