Attractive Nuisance is out today! I am so lucky to have worked on such a vulnerable, intimate project during such a vulnerable, intimate year. It’s truly an honor that @greeensleeves trusted me to add just the right amount of “fairy dust” to underscore the emotion of the songs without trampling them. While adding these additional layers, a few rare moments of peace were had in a chaotic af time and I’m really grateful for that. SO LISTEN TO IT PLZZZZ !!

Making this album was a special experience. @clevergirlsband put their trust in me to experiment with what the band could be and challenge them as artists. I wanted to push their limits as far outward as possible to shatter expectations and make room to create any sort of music they could imagine. I’m so proud of the band’s growth during this time! Their willingness to explore freely and desire to become the strongest unit they can is admirable. Chasing chaotic ideas into the night for the sake of “what if?” were/are some of my most enjoyable and rewarding studio moments. Our new album, Etiquette, is now streaming in full on our bandcamp! This album was recorded about a year and a half ago. We were all geared up to give it a “proper” release around then, but “real” life interjected in the “funny” way that it does and Night Nurses had to be put on the back burner. Time passed, our lives took new shapes. Chaimes is producing/touring with other acts, Lee is off to North Carolina in pursuit of greener pastures this fall, and now this band is just not the priority it once was. That being said...we worked really, really fxn hard to put our best foot forward on this album and would be remiss if we didn’t share it before ending this project indefinitely!
Etiquette is the distillation of our decade-long musical marriage. In it’s making, we embraced every impulse, drew on all influences, and never compromised our vision for this delicate nightmare. It may not be a significant record, but it does represent our shared perspective on music and mental health honestly, and I’m proud of that! Also, this project gave us the opportunity to collaborate with a bunch of local musicians when we were still new to the RI community! Endless gratitude to @mikemurdockdrums , @rozraskin , @anthonysavino_ , @ianleggemusic , @sweetpeapumpkin , @snaggletoothmama_ , @chaseceglie , @porkyfork , @ahjnabababo , @chillguys , and Micah Desmond for being open to such a freakshow and doing way too many takes! ...anyways, please enjoy the album and come celebrate the birth of our baby/divorce on Aug 27th in RI and 28th in Boston!Lincoln bio.
