We had a Record Store Day hit, David Holmes & I, with the Limited Edition 12” record ‘Henry McCullough’ - music by David plus amazing mixes by Andrew Weatherall bless him, lyrics by me spoken off the top of my head with nothing written down, my tribute to a dearest friend whose funeral I’d attended earlier in the day.⁣

I am honoured to have been invited to be part of the art project to benefit the Simon Community who care for homeless people, the project organised by John O’Donnell.⁣
⁣
In Trinity College in Dublin I wrote a poem/prayer on one brick mould and some words on another. ⁣
The brick moulds will be given to painters and the final results auctioned for Simon Community.⁣
⁣
Other people who have taken part are Bono, Imelda May, Tommy Tiernan, Glen Hansard, Gavin Friday and Cillian Murphy. ⁣
