I am grateful for all the birthday messages and prayers. But the best gift I received yesterday was seeing the video of this woman, Mrs Akinleye Dunní, sharing her story of how our administration has impacted her life.

What gives me joy, what gets me dancing, is knowing that the work we do every single day is touching the lives of the very people who put us here.

As we celebrated Workers’ Day last week, civil servants, pensioners, and former political office holders alike expressed gratitude for our administration’s commitment to their welfare — including the payment of the half salaries that were initiated under previous APC government and abandoned for four years under the subsequent APC administration.

Notably, we are paying all political appointees that served under the past APC administration their half-salary arrears, including former Governor Gboyega Oyetola and the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.

Under the Imole Administration, we do not punish workers for their political affiliation. Every individual who contributed their quota to the development of Osun State deserves to be treated with dignity and that is exactly what we will continue to deliver.
