A new report from @kb4people found that scammers use AI now more than ever, including creating calendar invite scams, impersonating people you know, and stealing your login credentials.

Stay one step ahead with these habits:

💡Verify the source of any unusual requests
💡Use MFA, passkeys or password managers for all accounts
💡Limit the personal info you share publicly

🎁 That “Winner!” text might look like your lucky break, but it’s probably a trap.

Spot the red flags:
🚩You didn’t enter a contest, but “won” anyway.
🚩They use urgent language designed to make you act without thinking.
🚩You’re asked to send a deposit or input personal information to claim it.

🔑 Switch to passkeys. By using biometrics (like a fingerprint or face scan) to log you in, your accounts become virtually “un-phishable.”

🔑 Use passwords that are long (at least 16 characters) and different for each of your accounts.

🔑 Try out a password manager. They securely store your passwords so you don’t have to remember them.
