February marks 10 years of En Root & nearly a decade of our beloved En Root van! What a journey it’s been, nourishing thousands of souls with Plant-Powered Goodness & building a community that goes far beyond food. From talks, workshops to outreach & local initiatives, we’ve become a pillar for connection, culture & care.

But to keep serving & growing, we need your help.

For ten years, we’ve funded all our community work ourselves. Today, the reality of the hospitality industry makes that impossible to sustain. Independent restaurants everywhere are facing rising costs & challenges. We’re currently fighting to stay open, stay present & stay En Root.

This February marks 10 years of En Root & nearly a decade of our beloved van. In that time, we’ve fed thousands & built something much bigger than food: a community rooted in nourishment, culture and connection.

For 10 years, we’ve fully self-funded our community work, but rising costs mean that’s no longer sustainable.

Like many independents, we’re fighting to stay open, stay present & stay true to who we are.

We’re launching a Crowdfunder to raise £20,000 to support low-cost community events, workshops, talks, outreach & if we exceed our goal, help fund a new En Root van and keep our restaurants running strong.

Meet Nish & Harsh from @Enrootldn

For the last 10 years they’ve been serving some of our favourite plant-based dishes to the communities of South London from their restaurants in Clapham, Brixton and Peckham.

Spend a few minutes talking to them about food and you feel their passion straight away. The care, the intent, the belief that what they make can do more than just taste good. It can bring people together.
