Our second project built in a hybrid production model.

This spot for Mogo blends studio-shot footage with scenes extended through AI compositing. Sounds like a shortcut on paper, but it’s not. Getting to a controlled, precise result took dozens of hours and thousands of generations.

Underneath it all, the fundamentals stay the same: lighting, references, pipeline, curation. Tools evolve, discipline doesn’t. What does change is the scale. Ideas that used to be out of reach, suddenly doable.

Before jumping into the character design, we dove into research and found one thing all financial companies share — a calculator slider on their homepage. What you’ve seen a hundred times, we turned into a character.

That’s how Slider was born. A cool, slightly cheeky, empathetic guide through the Mogo ecosystem. Abstract, multifunctional, shape-shifting. No fixed arms or legs, they appear when needed.

For years, our studio entrance was lined with this graveyard of logos from a previous company that used to rent this space. And for years we had idea to fix it. And for years we had no time to make it.

We asked @fjodor_zernov to came up with the idea of slapping a huge artwork across all the frames.

From now on this badass mutant boar will greet everyone at the studio entrance. He wears only turbo shades and smokes cheapest tobacco, what a style.
