This video might look complex, but it’s actually quite simple to make.

The idea behind it was to represent how we’re constantly glued to our phones and how our attention span keeps shrinking every day.
With just After Effects’ built-in plugins and a little creativity, you can easily achieve the same visual.

The tutorial isn’t super in-depth on purpose—I want you to experiment, make mistakes, and learn through the process.

Here’s a quick breakdown of my latest video 🙌

One of those random thoughts I decided to bring to life. I set up a green matte in a random spot with two friends, acted like I was floating and spinning through the sky, and then landing into a parallel world (kinda like Inception vibes). Took me a bit to get the edit clean in After Effects, but I’m really happy with how it turned out!

The best ideas aren’t kept — they’re exchanged.

I had this idea of replacing people’s heads with something that represents their identity or what’s going on in their mind. But I kept putting it off because I didn’t know how to take it forward. That’s when I spoke to @deekay.xyz, and with his illustration skills, we shaped it into exactly what I had in mind. That’s when I saw how much better ideas get when shared.
