Dry eyes can cause uncomfortable symptoms, like burning, itching, watering or blurred vision. Here are some tips to reduce the uncomfortable symptoms associated with dry eye disease.

1. Avoid environmental triggers like cigarette smoke, powerful air vents, wind, and known allergens. Wearing protective wraparound glasses may help further protect your eyes when triggers are unavoidable.
2. Use a humidifier regularly, as Vancouver has very low humidity levels, which can take a toll on your eyes.
3. Placing a warm mask can help melt thickened oils in the meibomian glands, improving oil flow and stabilizing tear film. We provide 2 different eye mask models to suit your specific needs.
