He wonders about human transience and why no man was left to defend or maintain such a place. He imagines the lives of the heroes who built the city, now lost to destiny, and the progress of time.’

The Ruin
Reflections on the ruins of an industrial past, the dust of devolution, and phantoms of greatness.
