The complete soundtrack to the celebrated animated holiday television special, written and created by Charles Schulz, directed by Bill Melendez and Phil Roman and produced by Melendez and Lee Mendelson, includes the long-awaited release of many of Guaraldi’s classic compositions and performances along with never-before-heard bonus material.

This soundtrack from the 1973 holiday classic includes Guaraldi hits from the original sources like the funky brass filled “Linus and Lucy,” “Thanksgiving Theme,” and the soulful “Little Birdie.” You will hear timbres from instruments that were previously buried in the show mix. Friday was more than a listening party.

It was a room full of people sharing their love for Paul McCartney, The Beatles, and the music that has shaped generations of listeners, musicians, dreamers, and record collectors. It was stories, memories, favorite songs, and the reminder that great music continues to connect us across decades.

It also gave us a true full-circle moment. Our youngest attendee, making his very first listening party appearance, took home the grand prize. Somehow, that feels exactly right. Music like this doesn’t belong to one generation; it gets passed down, shared, discovered, and loved anew by the next. Seeing a young fan walk away with that prize was a beautiful reminder that the story of Paul McCartney & The Beatles is still being written.

We have the record and CD in the shop now. Don’t miss out.
