It’s been a beautiful 13 or so years, hasn’t it? When I started putting clothes on people at the end of secondary school, I didn’t really know what styling was, I still don’t, if I’m frank lol. The awkward weird girl that burst into song at a moment’s notice, found a hobby and also accidentally a community. I got into college and took fashion so seriously, wormed my way into being head stylist, then did many fashion shows in my society and then other colleges. Then I became known as the fashion girl (what is that?). After, I got into eBay even though I was illegally using it since I was 13 and used my connections to get even more cheaper stuff, then I became a Topshop stylist all the while styling music videos, shorts films and any randomer who would have me. Then I realised ohhh this can be a career and oh it was, I’ve done it all, no like literally. Everything from ads, to films, to plays, to music videos, to Instagram stories, to cover after cover after cover, to editorials in planes and boats and random derelict yards. If clothes were needed, I was there. I showed up, made my own path, single handedly paved the way for anyone who looks like me even when it was really hard. Carried the world even when it was too heavy, it still is. The beautiful thing though is I did it, not always well but I did it. This isn’t a defeat, yes the Irish fashion industry didn’t always love me like I love her and she tolerated me the best she could and I’m ever thankful. I tried my best to have the best environments and if I ever fell short, I’m truly sorry, towards the end it got to me. I hope you didn’t lose your love for it. So this is a goodbye to my styling career, it’s been bye bye for a few weeks now but I wasn’t ready and now I am. I’ll still be fashion adjacent and available for project consultation and for shows. BUT for putting clothes on people, that era is over, tho I am figuring out my baby @theartofstyling.ie and hopefully you’ll readily have somewhere to see and celebrate all Irish stylists soon. This has been the ride of my life and now I’m going on a different journey in my 30th year on this burning basketball, thank you all so much for loving me for so long 💋

Rooms full of joy are the only rooms I belong in. So yes I’m still thinking about yesterday at the gorgeous Glass Bottle where beautiful, creative people came together to listen, learn and build community.

I had the pleasure, alongside an incredible line-up, of speaking at IFW’s The Irish Edit Bootcamp about The Moment Matters and what happens when your brand is no longer just yours…but in front of people.

We showed up and we’re planning to show out in October. I got up, spoke to old and new faces, fumbled, figured it out… and that’s exactly the point. Becoming who you’re meant to be in real time, in front of people. That’s where the learning actually happens. This moment is truly for all of us!

So, so HONOURED to have been chosen by the IFW team as Showroom Coordinator. As a new addition to the schedule, it’s an opportunity to set the tone and shine a light on the incredible craftsmanship in this amazing country. More to comeeeee✨

✨ Meet Your Host ✨

For Beneath the Surface, I was intentional about who would hold space for this experience.

Zeda the Architect brings a way of creating that feels thoughtful, grounded, and rooted in connection. The kind of energy that allows people to show up fully and actually engage with the moment.

Tomorrow isn’t just about art. It’s about what happens beneath it.

If you’re joining us, come open. Come present.

See you soon.

Oh, For the Love of Stylists ✨

Ireland Fashion Week x The Art Of Styling hosted an intimate evening celebrating the creative voices shaping Ireland’s styling landscape, bringing together a carefully curated group of stylists and fashion insiders for a relaxed yet thoughtful gathering.

Set within the Private Dining Room at Alta Verde, the evening is designed as a space for meaningful conversation, connection and reflection on the evolving role of styling within Irish fashion while celebrating the vision which quietly shapes the stories we see, wear and share.

Guests enjoyed a multi course tasting menu by @ibile_restaurant and a Stylist Sip Gin & Tonic by @boatyarddistillery
