T&T Supermarket Pop Up at Santana Row 💚

T&T Supermarket’s first California location is opening in San Jose and they are hosting a 2-weekend pop-up at Santana Row before opening day.

Stop by for fun photo ops along with playing a game for free prizes (while supplies last). Go early if you can. The pop-up started at noon and there was already a line before then.

Southern style barbecue time!

This casual barbecue restaurant has been around since 2011. They now have two locations in the Bay Area and one in Vegas. Their meats are slow cooked for hours and their sauces and desserts are made in-house. The brisket and burnt ends are most popular along with their Wolf Turds appetizer (bacon wrapped jalapeno cheese poppers.

Fun times at CabFranc-A-Palooza 🍷

This was the event’s fourth year and a gathering for Cab Franc lovers and wine enthusiasts. The Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort has a big outdoor space for all the wine booths, food trucks, tables and chairs.

There were over 50 wineries and more than 100 wines. Cab Franc, Cab Franc Blanc, Cab Franc Rosé, new releases, award winning vintages. Many local Livermore wineries were there. Also some from Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles and throughout, and even ones from Oregon, Texas, Nee York, and Michigan!

Amazing event and they already have a date set for 2027!

Curated wine selection at Tai Er!

We’re back at Tai Er Valley Fair and this time we enjoyed our Sichuan meal with a bottle of Duncan Peak wine. Duncan Peak Wines is an Asian owned winery in Mendocino County that has curated four wines for Tai Er.

Come here for an authentic Italian meal!

This family owned Italian restaurant and bar has been serving the Los Gatos community for 30 years. It’s hard to tell from the outside, but inside is a beautiful and spacious dining space.

Their menu offer a variety of classic dishes, and a few seasonal and special items. The burrata starter was so delicious. We also really enjoyed the spaghetti mare chiaro and pollo sorrento.

All you can eat hot pot! 🍲

This Mongolian style ayce hot pot restaurant is in 11 countries worldwide with 5 locations in the Bay Area. They’re known for their rich 6-hour bone marrow broth and their premium cuts of lamb and beef.

We visited the Cupertino location. Even though it was almost 90 degrees out, there was a wait at dinner time. Hot pot ingredients ordered were brought to the table. Then they have self serve stations for sauce, appetizers, desserts, soft serve and even cotton candy.

Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory is here! 🇯🇵

This popular Tokyo brand has expanded to the US, starting with California. Their products are made with Hokkaido milk and premium ingredients.

The signature cookies are known to be buttery and simply delicious with European cheese filling. I was most excited to try the matcha cheesecake. It tasted even better than I imagined.

Authentic Yunnan and Hunan cuisine!

This contemporary restaurant in San Mateo serves traditional dishes from the Yunnan and Hunan provinces. Even though we weren’t too familiar with these cuisines, we enjoyed every dish we ordered and the meal altogether.

Our favorite was the signature beef dry pot. It was spicy and burned so good. The cold noodles with wild mushrooms was the perfect complement.
