Premiering April 2026…

If ever there was a film festival that means a lot to folks who appreciate westerns, it’s the Tombstone Film Festival.

LEX TALIONIS, a Dan Fowlks western revenge film we made in Utah a few years ago, was nominated for five awards:
- Best Screenplay (Dan Fowlks)
- Best Horses (“Filly” AKA “Filly Cheesesteak”)
- Best Actress (Lilly Mae Stover)
- Best Actor (Yours Truly)
- Best Feature Film

We only won one category… but it was The Big One!

We accepted on behalf of Dan, who couldn’t stay for the awards ceremony, and the entire LEX team.

Cool.

Didn’t realize LEX TALIONIS was still on the festival circuit. Nice surprise! Congrats to@danfowlks, @lillymaestover, and the entire cast and crew!

Carol for Clint is finally being shared.

This little film was shot many years ago for a Christmas filmmaking challenge, but its heart goes back further — to a letter written by my cousin, Clint Yonk, before he died. He wrote about the freezing nights he spent while homeless, sleeping beside frozen lakes and listening to the ice groan and crack like something alive. If you’ve ever heard it, you know how strange and otherworldly it feels. That imagery stuck with me, and it became the seed for this film.

Chase Harrison shaped those fragments — Clint’s words and my ideas — into a beautiful script.
@MarkBracich and @JessicaStaples brought it to life with honesty and depth.
And the music, composed by Patrick Lyndaker, carries the soul of the film in such a powerful, understated way.

This one means a lot to me.
