Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disorder where the immune system erroneously attacks healthy tissues and organs, leading to inflammation in joints, skin, kidneys, brain, heart, and lungs

During the 2025 Anticipatory Action interventions for riverine flooding in Adamawa State, the Nigerian Red Cross Society supported families with cash assistance to help them prepare ahead of predicted floods reducing the risk of hunger and hardship.

Filming this project was particularly tough as it involved hearing tragic stories of how some recipients became immobile.

Amid ongoing discussions about the killing of Christians, some beneficiaries of the wheelchair donations are individuals from previous attacks in certain Nigerian communities.
It's heartbreaking that, despite the presence of many wealthy churches, foreigners still need to donate. As usual, we often wait to be rescued.

The Knights of Columbus teamed up with the Canadian Wheelchair Foundation to deliver nearly 100 wheelchairs each to three locations: Sokoto, Yola, and Ogoja in Nigeria.
