Fun to find these again.Northern lights. Camera could not pick up the ones dancing over top.Even the locals had never scene them like this.

As I remember.
Really cold

After the long layover of eating and drinking and drinking.

New country for a long layover. Last country was fine. #portugal I'm just going to leave it at that.Like a really expensive first date that almost worked out but you've done this before and know to walk away.
Now I'm going to open a bottle of wine, in public, with out criticism.

Algarves. ? Or apostle islands in Wisconsin ? Guess which one has considerably less screaming children ,roundabouts and better cheese and fish then Portugal.#pourdesisions #visitwisconsin

This is it. No need to move on. I've found my spot. After debating this decision and imbibing the local wine—much local wine—the debate ended abruptly as I had lost the dexterity to climb out. If anyone needs me, I'm here. Bring more wine, please.

It wasn't about eating tuna from oma. Where the cold water current and diet allow them to grow larger with a perfect fat to meat texture. 

 It wasn't about tracing back century old bloodlines to the 

Kuroge Washu cattle.  Omi ,Matsusaka ,kobe came from this cow.

Or Sudo Honke. A brewery still producing saki 55 generations later 

Not even floating in lake mashu. One of the clearest in the world.  

This trip was all about the cat.  

Odd fact.

Meat was illegal. Punishable by death for 1200 years.
