With spring here in New England, the mud is calling.

Spring trails are magic. They're also basically held together by the prayers of every trail crew that spent their fall building them.
Ride wet, ride loose, ride at your own peril, but more importantly, with trail crews in mind. Those berms don't rebuild themselves.
Check conditions before you go. Ride it if it's open. Find a different trail if not (one with more rock)
Come back and volunteer when it dries out.
