I forgot to take a proper picture of this print before I gave it away to be packed with the other trade portfolio prints.

I’ve been sitting on this post for awhile. I try not to get too political with things, as I rather make work politically than make political art. I admit that I am privileged for this.

Or maybe this is just too literal for me.

I was presented with the challenge on printing on an atypical substrate. As someone who’s collected many maps over the years the choice was simple. I decided to print on this giant transparency of a TX road map. Screen printing on mylar was a struggle in itself but knew I wanted to print on both sides. Anyway I of course got to thinking about signs, borders, and where I’m from; and ended up with this.
